Mechanical Design

Requirements-driven mechanical architecture, detailed 3D and 2D design, structural and thermal simulation, and validation through to supplier process capability.

Our mechanical team works the same way as our electronics teams: architecture before detail, simulation before prototype, and a named owner for every interface.

The work spans robotics, power electronics, power tools and automotive. What they have in common is that the mechanical design has to survive real conditions — thermal cycling, misuse, head impact regulation — and has to be manufacturable at the supplier who will actually build it.
